Issue number 1: Shingles. Because everyone seems concerned that they too might get it, let me say once and for all that I am not contagious. Firstly, if I was contagious, I would only be contagious to those who have never had the chicken pox AND never had the chicken pox vaccine. The vaccine became available around 1997/98, so most people my age got the vaccine if they hadn't already had the virus.
Shringles usually happens to people sixty year of age or older. It can happen youger, but most of the data and statistics out there is directed to the frail and the elderly, opposed to moderately healthy teenagers. Thus, the docter told me it can last anywhere from 3 weeks to a lifetime. Studies show that 10% of people who get Shringles have it for a lifetime---but keep in mind that most of these people probably get when they're eighty years old. So once again, medical statistics fail me.
So I'm clueless---What else is new?
Well, working at the bowling alley is always fun with my darling Misery-lookalike/actalike/talkalike. Do I just naturally appeal to these sorts of people?
Oh! And I lost my book. Which is disapointing because it was a really good book lol and I never got to read the end! That's on par with the Shringles
